As the Learning and Partnership Manager, I have been the lead for our organisation in partnering with Diversity Matters North West. This has been a huge success, we have delivered courses to the community in Hyde including ESOL and Confidence Building, which in turn has led to culturally excluded residents in the borough progressing onto full qualifications in both Maths and English. Following on from this we have supported job fairs arranged and run by DMNW to give employment and training opportunities for the residents of Hyde. This is a much needed and valued community organisation which wholeheartedly supports and services the community of Hyde and all its residents, DMNW are our direct link to support BAMER women in Hyde, without their efforts minority groups within Hyde would be further socially isolated and not have the opportunity to access learning or training.
