Garry has worked in education for over thirty-six years, mainly in local schools. He has also been a governor at local primary schools.
Johura is a former community outreach worker of British-Bangladeshi heritage. She lives in Hyde.
Penny is a university lecturer in education and researcher, a former Ofsted inspector and equal opportunities coordinator and has previously founded her own charity. Penny is our DMNW Equality and Diversity Champion and lives in Hyde.

Tosin is an Ofsted Registered Nanny, she loves to support her Community and is a local Hyde resident.
Mohammed Nasir Khan
Mohammed Nasir Khan lives in Hyde and has been working with the local community for over 25 years. He has volunteered for the Commonwealth Games in 2002, worked with the Lions Club International and is a former Chair of Hyde Bangladeshi Welfare Association.
Halyma has been employed in the Co-operative Movement for the last 16 years with experience in Leadership, Coaching & Development as well as being Vice Chair of Governors at a Co-op Academy and a sitting panel member for GMCA Women & Girls Equality. Halyma is a local resident.
Asma is a Solicitor of British-Bangladeshi heritage. She has 15 years’ experience working in the private/public legal sector and is a local resident.
Lorraine has over 25 years’ management experience working in social care, homelessness, ex-offender services and as Director of Residential Services for Women with Life Controlling Issues. Lorraine holds an MSc in management, is a qualified TESOL tutor and a local resident.
