What is it?

Tameside Buddying project has been designed to support people with long term conditions into community and social activities.  DMNW is supporting residents from BAME communities who have long term conditions to either be a volunteer buddy or to access social activities within the community with the support of a mentor.

Who is it for?

BAME residents in Tameside who are suffering from a long-term condition and want to engage in social activities.

As a volunteer you will:

  • Reduce isolation
  • Help others
  • Increase your knowledge
  • Have fun
